MadisonAn avid musician and performer from a young age, Long Island, New York's Madison Elle Beer started posting videos of herself singing cover versions of well-known songs as a 13-year-old in 2012. In the space of a few months the pop icon Justin Bieber came across her rendition of Etta James' "At Last" and shared it with his more than 25 million followers on Twitter. The publicity that ensued resulted in her signing a record agreement with Island Records and a management deal with Bieber's management the following year. Beer was also in the small role of an actor supporting in Louder Than Words. This film, starring David Duchovny, premiered at the 2013 festival. The melismatic and poppy "Melodies," her debut single, was also released late in 2013.
